You may recognize Schatar Sapphira Collier from her time in front of the camera on MTV and VH1, but she’s building a business empire behind the camera too as the owner of New Vista Studios LLC. Founded in 2015 in partnership with her husband and business partner, Maxie D. Collier, a veteran independent media producer, director, writer, and technologist, New Vista Studios is a tech and media company with products including content strategy, marketing consultation and media training in support of corporate clients, government entities and academic institution. Their OTT agency and media consultancy also boasts a network of streaming television channels on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, the web and mobile apps including the channel All Women TV.
Schatar is on the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter, the producers of the regional Emmy Awards. She is a graduate of the Comcast NBCUniversal Corporate Partnership Bootcamp, a member of the Amazon BBA Connect Accelerator and a current partner with the Nevada Women’s Business Center on media training for business owners and executives. Schatar is a wife, mom and entrepreneur who loves inspiring other business owners to reach for their goals and live their dreams.
A seasoned live broadcast television professional, Schatar’s TV, media and movie credits include “The Doctors” nationally syndicated program, ABC’s “Boston Legal”, MTV Networks, VH1, the production of the “Poultry Princess” television series on Amazon Prime, Wendy Williams’ radio program, two Debbie Allen productions and the movie “High Roller” featuring Michael Imperioli of “The Sopranos” among many others.
